The fastest way to reach the site's maintainer is by email at absolutoolweb@gmail.com. The inbox is checked daily on weekdays and most responses go out within one to three working days. If your message is time-sensitive (a security report, a takedown request), put "URGENT" in the subject line and you'll get a same-day reply where possible.
Feedback button on every page
Every page on the site has a small floating feedback button in the bottom-right corner — the speech-bubble icon. Clicking it opens a one-screen form where you can pick the type of message (Suggestion / Bug Report / Improvement Request / Other), optionally tag it to a specific tool, and write up to 1,000 characters. Submissions arrive in the same inbox as direct emails. Use whichever channel is more convenient for you.
What we can help with
- Bug reports. Describe what you tried, what happened, and what you expected. Including the browser (Chrome / Firefox / Safari / Edge) and operating system you were on makes the bug much faster to reproduce. Screenshots help if the bug is visual; a short screen recording helps if it's interactive.
- Tool suggestions. "I'd love a tool that does X" is welcome. The more specific the use case, the more likely it gets built — "I need to convert HEIC photos from my iPhone to PNG without uploading to a server" lands better than "add more image tools."
- Translation reports. If a string in your language reads awkwardly, looks machine-translated, or has the wrong gender or formality register for the context, please tell us. The site ships in twenty languages and translations are maintained by hand, so corrections are easy to apply.
- Accessibility feedback. If a tool doesn't work with your screen reader, doesn't reflow correctly at high zoom, fails contrast checks, or is unusable on a phone, that's a priority class of bug report. Include the assistive technology you use (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, Dragon, switch device, etc.) so the fix can be tested against the same setup.
- Partnership and licensing enquiries. If you want to embed an Absolutool tool in your site, integrate via an iframe, or discuss a co-branded version of an existing tool, send the proposal to the email above with "Partnership" in the subject.
- Press and interview requests. Email is the right channel. Please include the publication, the angle of the story, and a deadline.
- Privacy or security disclosures. Email with "SECURITY" in the subject line. Responsible disclosure is appreciated — we'll acknowledge receipt within 24 hours and coordinate a fix and disclosure timeline with you. The repository is on GitHub if you prefer a GitHub Security Advisory; link below.
What we can't help with
- General tech support outside our tools. We can't troubleshoot Microsoft Word, Photoshop or your printer. If a third-party tool isn't working, the right place to ask is that tool's support channel.
- Recovering files. Because nothing leaves your device, we have no copy of any file you've processed. If you closed the tab before downloading the result, the result is gone — there's no server-side cache to retrieve from. The Saved Files workspace stores files in your browser's local IndexedDB, which is also unrecoverable from our end if it's cleared.
- Personal account issues. Absolutool doesn't have user accounts at all. If a third party has misused your data on a different platform, the contact for that is the platform itself.
- Legal advice. The privacy and terms pages describe what we do; they aren't legal counsel. For your own legal questions, please consult a lawyer.

The source code for the site is public at github.com/LongTunic/Absolutool. If you'd rather report a bug or request a tool there, the Issues tab is monitored. The repository is the canonical source of truth for what the site does — every claim on the privacy and terms pages is verifiable by reading the source.
Response time expectations
Absolutool is run by one independent maintainer rather than a team. That means responses are written by a person, not a chatbot, but it also means there's no 24/7 ticketing system. Realistic expectations: a reply within one to three weekdays for normal enquiries, same-day for security or accessibility-blocking issues marked urgent, and one to two weeks for tool requests that require investigation before answering. If you haven't heard back in a week on a non-urgent message, please feel free to follow up — the inbox occasionally gets noisy and a polite second nudge is appreciated rather than annoying.
